Getting to Cambridgeshire

Rail
Peterborough is 50 minutes from King's Cross railway station in London and is on one of the main rail routes from London to the north. Cambridge, Ely and Huntingdon are also around an hour from King's Cross. All Huntingdon trains stop at St Neots. Cambridge and Ely also have slightly slower links with London from Liverpool Street station.

Air
Cambridgeshire is situated 25 minutes from London Stansted Airport which provides regular flights to most major European destinations, and within 1 hour 30 minutes of London Gatwick and London Heathrow. Also within easy reach are London Luton and East Midlands Airports.
In addition, Cambridge hosts it's own private airport, Marshall Airport, which is suitable for European short-haul, international business jets, Boeing 757's and Airbus A320's.
Sea
Cambridgeshire is within easy reach of the East Coast sea ports of Felixstowe, Harwich, Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth.
Despite being inland Cambridgeshire also has it's own harbour in the Fenland town of Wisbech. The port of Wisbech caters for fishing and leisure activities as well as commercial operations between the county and mainland Europe.
On the South Kent coast the English Channel can be crossed by ferry at Dover or by Eurostar.
